中国日报网站消息：南美宽侧颈龟（Arrau）是一个濒临灭绝的品种，但现在它们在委内瑞拉找到了生的希望。委内瑞拉政府建立了一个世界上最大的濒危物种放生计划，涉及数万只南美宽侧颈龟。4月3日，千只南美宽侧颈龟聚集在奥利诺科河的河滩上，争先恐后地爬回大自然的怀抱。
